From Juliet:
Hi! My name is Juliet Rojas.
I believe therapy works best when it feels personal, collaborative, and tailored to you. I strive to understand not only what brings you to therapy, but also the parts of your life that bring you joy, comfort, and meaning. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, and I’m always open to trying new approaches. If something doesn’t feel helpful, we can talk about it together and find what works best for you.
My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, heard, and safe being yourself. You can bring any topic, problem, or thought into our sessions, whether it feels big or small. I want you to feel like you can be open and honest without feeling judged. Together, we can explore tools to help you navigate life’s challenges, develop coping skills, and build on the strengths you already have. Sometimes, facing life’s challenges means looking at things from a different perspective and finding new ways to approach situations when something no longer feels like it’s working.
I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults. Some of the areas I have experience with include anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, grief, self-esteem, adjustment challenges, behavioral concerns (or, as I like to call them, helpful and unhelpful behaviors), daily life struggles, social challenges, and school challenges. I also have experience using CBT, ACT, and play therapy.
I graduated from Rowan University with my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Outside of session, I enjoy going to the gym, running, reading, and spending time with my cat and dog.
If you think I may be a good fit for you, please reach out! I would love to get to know you and work together.”
Thank you,
Juliet Rojas
