From Evelyn:
I earned my graduate degree in Social Work from Fordham University in New York, with a concentration in Child Welfare.
My work centers on fostering self-awareness, inner peace, and lasting happiness amidst the many demands of modern life. I work with all individuals and families across diverse populations. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients in identifying and transforming thought patterns that impact emotional well-being.
I am a supportive listener—adaptable, transparent, and sensitive to diverse cultural backgrounds. I focus on thoroughly assessing and evaluating each client’s needs to collaboratively develop an individualized plan that promotes emotional stability and resilience.
Additionally, I am certified in ARC Grow Therapy, which emphasizes processing and understanding trauma while addressing the multifaceted aspects of healing. This approach allows me to provide a compassionate, trauma-informed environment where clients can safely explore their experiences and work toward lasting recovery and personal growth.
